Hey there, I'm Laura, wearing many hats – author, YouTuber, blogger, and the creator of the“Learning Reading Hub” platform. This project was created to learn about reading instruction and to raise awareness about the importance of using the right methodologies for teaching reading. I'm all into research, writing, and connecting with others who share my passions. I've been around the block in marketing, digital projects, and the education scene, especially in language learning. I've got the TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) certification, plus a Journalism degree from the University of Navarra (Spain), and aMaster’s Degree in Communication from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain). Teaching my first kid to read? Let's just say it was a rollercoaster. Confusing info, weird methods, and stubborn beliefs were everywhere. But that chaos turned into my journey of self-discovery and learning. Now, I'm on a mission to help others facing the same reading hurdles. I'm all about making the path smoother for anyone in my shoes. Beyond my work, I'm all about family and friends. I am also raising my two daughters in a bilingual environment (English and Spanish).
